How it Works
Posted July 2013
The core to the Gazunti framework is a set of algorithms that can very quickly convert data into a ‘processable’ format. That formatted data can then read and understood by Gazunti to deliver answers to questions asked by end users. That data can be both structured including forms and formatted documents, and unstructured like a web page.
GazApps can be implemented using a “software as a service” model. The Gazunti server sits alongside your existing infrastructure, either in the cloud or on your premises, and interworks using open standards. This means it works with any web server, including what you use now, and what you’ll use in the future. Thes apps can also be build and deployed offline and not connected to the network addressing concerns about privacy and security.
What this means for the developer is that Gazunti adds to any existing investment in web & smart phone infrastructure and grows with it.
- When you update, add or delete text to your website and documents you change the answers that are be given by Gazunti. The new functionality becomes available the next time Gazunti “reads” the text.
- When you add data to your database Gazunti can make use of it immediately.
- When you add new web forms to your website, you can add new actions that Gazunti can perform. The new functionality becomes available when you add a new “question type” to Gazunti.
- When the AI community adds new information on language, concepts, places & people, this can be integrated into the next release of Gazunti.
To operate on a smartphone, you need a smartphone app, known as a “thin client” or GazClient. We can provide you with Java or Coco classes to add to your existing smartphone app, or if you don’t have an existing app the GazClient can be the starting point for your business’ app. GazApps work by;
- Periodically reading your website and documents.
- Adding natural language search to your documents (question answering)
- Integrating with your existing databases.
- Prefilling your existing web forms
- Leveraging open source Artificial Intelligence resources.
